Mindfulness for Wellbeing

This 6-week personal course will be an introduction to mindfulness and meditation as tools to help reduce stress and deal with everyday emotions and challenges. Michal will introduce practical techniques that you can use immediately in your daily life, as well as practices that have positive benefits over a lifetime.  

 

The course includes:

 

  • A personal 30 minute mindfulness introduction with Michal George at a time that suits you 

  • 6 weeks live Zoom with a maximum of 12 people on Saturdays at 9am – 10.30 am

  • Weekly guided practice recordings for everyday use

 

Studies show that participation in even relatively short mindfulness programs reduces anxiety and shows positive benefits. The programme has been developed from over 20 years of studying and practising mindfulness and meditation, with learnings from some of the world’s leading mindfulness and meditation teachers.

The total course package price is ZAR2000, with 50% payable on registration.

Michal in his own words . . .


Central to the development of mindfulness are qualities of focused, yet relaxed, and present-moment attention. While strengthening the ability to self-regulate, this develops our capacity to become more discerning about what we choose to engage with and how. We move toward a felt sense of well-being when we are better equipped with ways of navigating the uncertain and often choppy waters of human experience. Mindfulness provides some invaluable tools for crafting an authentic life, while the language of conscious communication explores the context of common ground. Mindfulness is an invitation to bring awareness to the quality of one's presence and being — in formal practice, as well as in everyday life.
